Although it took Home Depot a week to get it from Dallas, Tx to El Paso, Tx it finally was delivered and set up in my home. It looks good, runs quietly, and is a big improvement over the freezer that it replaced which was only 24 years old. Start up was simple and the new freezei is working fine.Happy to have it in and running.

Replaced our old freezer a week ago. This new freezer ran constantly for a day or so. I think it was acclimating & adjusting to the temperature. It is very quiet when it runs, but now the compressor is not running continuously. It hasn™™t frosted up like our old freezer did.

We purchased this freezer as we needed more room. I think this is a perfect size. We actually purchased this freezer as our old chest freezer was a Frigidaire. The old chest freezer is still working 17 years later, so we felt comfortable with Frigidaire would be reluable. This is a garage ready model.The only reason 4 stars instead of 5...I think baskets are needed to keep food from falling out. I did purchase baskets, but having them would have been nice

I am happy with this freezer and it is energy efficient. It holds the wrapped whole Kuni pig we purchase + there's room for chicken, beef and the door holds my homemade bone broth.The feature I am most excited about is the pull out drawer in the bottom. I can easily pull it out to see what is in there to use. This may seem like a simple thing, but my old upright didn't have a drawer and those items got forgotten about because there wasn't easy access..

This Frigidaire upright freezer replaces a well-working 40-year-old Amana which was getting to be a pain for us Seniors to do its required manual defrosting. We've had this new Frigidaire just over a week and it's excellent: holds the required temp. range and is quiet. Delivery was on time and the delivery tech. set it up fully to operate right-out-of-the-box. So far, "all systems go"! One pro tip for those planning to replace their old freezer: follow the delivery set-up tips offered by your retailer so that the location you pick has the right clearances and surrounding temperature.

This upright 16 cuff freezer failed at 3 yrs and 9 months due to oil dripping on the evaporating cable. A complete scrub. I had to call a repair service for $125, in order to find the problem and then, be able to discuss the ™lemon™™ with customer service. The warranty was 3 years. No compensation, just an apology, we can™™t offer you any compensation for your $700 loss. Then they send you an email to buy from them an Electrolux product at a discount just a mere $664 and all the add ons at an additional cost, like to remove the old. They indicated I should have bought the extended warranty.The oil leak and evaporation cable was clearly manufactured incorrectly. This is just another example of an appliance not holding up.

We™™ve only had this freezer a couple of weeks, but it™™s good so far. There™™s plenty of room, and the shelves are somewhat adjustable. It™™s very basic and affordable, which is what we wanted. I like the shelves in the door, especially since they are enclosed so items can™™t slide out the bottom. We are hoping to get years of good service. We™™ll see.
